Bear Much Fruit

Imagine the Father of heaven walking through His holy vineyard. He begins His inspection with the True Vine, His Son Jesus Christ. Then He examines the branches connected to the True Vine. He checks the branches one by one from the root stock of the True Vine down to the very last branch. The vineyard covers the whole earth!

Why is God scrutinizing the branches so closely? He is checking their fruit! The Vine is perfect but the branches need His constant, loving care. Some branches are sickly & stunted. Some are detached. Yet, some are healthy and producing fruit.

Jesus said, “He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful” (John 15:2). Can you hear the Father coming with His pruning shears? Are you connected to the True Vine, or are fallen off with dead branches? If you are still connected, are you producing good fruit, or is your your spiritual life sickly? REPENT! Judgment is coming.

Are you are connected and bearing some fruit? REJOICE! Discipline may come but the Father only prunes your life so you can produce much fruit.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
